Questions before enrollment

How do I know whether I need DIP?

Read your MVA or court notice and follow its exact program and deadline. If you are unsure, confirm with the issuing agency before enrolling.

Does completing DIP erase points or dismiss a traffic ticket?

Course completion does not automatically erase points, dismiss a citation or restore driving privileges. Follow the instructions from MVA or the court.

What does the online course include?

Five modules cover the driving record and points, aggressive driving, impairment, fatigue and distraction, and Maryland laws. The learning flow includes original MVA presentation material, required reading and knowledge checks.

What happens after coursework?

Review the final-exam appointment steps. Staff must verify identity, coursework and the authorized testing method. Booking alone is not proof of completion.

What should I compare before enrolling?

Confirm the complete fee, exam arrangement, retest terms, accessibility needs and completion-reporting process. Standard DIP is $80 total. DIP with express submission is $90 total with the 10% offer (regularly $100; $10 more than standard). Confirm exam arrangements and any retest terms with staff.

Is the 3-hour program open?

Yes. Enrollment is open for the 3-Hour Roadway Safety Program (RSDEP). It is a separate program from DIP; choose the program required by your notice or licensing instructions.

Drivers EDU is an independent education provider. Your issuing agency determines the requirement and acceptance of your completion.
